Join Team RunningHungry (Fall 50)

Update (October 2, 2010): The relay team is now full.  However, if you’re planning to be in Door County to watch the race, let me know, and I’ll add you to the team page!

I am pleased to offer you a unique opportunity.  You can share in the excitement of race day by joining Team RunningHungry, a five-person relay team that will run the 50-mile course while I attempt to do the same on my own.

The race is divided into ten legs, ranging from 3.0 – 7.4 miles long.  Descriptions of each leg are available here, and maps are also available.

While the simplest option would be for everyone to run two legs apiece, the only requirement is that each team member run at least one.  So, you might only need to run one leg if a teammate is willing to run three.

I would absolutely love it if you would join me on this incredible journey. If you are even remotely interested, let me know.

You don’t have to be a runner to be on the team. It’s always helpful to have support people around, especially during a race of this magnitude, even if all you do is stand somewhere on the course and cheer.  So, bring your whole family to Door County for a weekend of fun, and you’ll all be members of the team!
